Kyle and I have been doing great! School is going good, work is going good for both Kyle and I (I finally got the courage to quite my job last week...yay! I still am working at the house, just not as manger, until I find a new job...And I'm hoping to get a job as a teller at the Well's Fargo Bank across the street from where we live!). So we will see how that is going. School is going great! We are halfway through the semester...only about a month and a couple weeks left. One of my finals is on December 7th, so that must mean that we are getting close to being done!
Kyle is doing great with school, even though he thinks he's really not, I know that he is! He is such a study bug and I am so proud of his hard hard work! He even studies on Saturdays!!! He loves his company that he works with- Intermountain Staffing, they always bring him treats and lunch at work and they even are taking us out to dinner sometime soon. So that's about it!

Last night Kyle and I had a lot of fun carving our first pumpkins of the season! They were kind of expensive but totally worth it! We both got our pumpkin carving ideas from the internet. Kyle carved a Mario face in his pumpkin and I carved a swirly more artsy pumpkin this year...something I've never done before. These are our pumpkins:

We had a fun week last week too, we went camping up in one of Logan's many canyons, it was was way fun to get away! (Even though it was a little cold at night!) We made these interesting egg and hamburger burritos for dinner, it was actually really good!
Today we went to the Logan homecoming parade and got lots of candy! And then afterwords, we test drove a Nissan Extera, just for fun. We live right next to a car dealership and everyday we look at the Extera and wish we had one so we decided to test drive one today. It was really fun. Maybe someday when we need a bigger car we will get one. =)
Two weeks ago was my 21st birthday! I don't have any pictures to post from it unfortunately, but it was the best birthday ever! Kyle made the best happy birthday sign for me and bought me Coldplay concert tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited to go to this concert in November, we LOVE Coldplay! He also made me pumpkin pancakes all by himself in the morning, they were yummy and I was super proud of his baking skills! He made it the best birthday ever! And then on Sunday, my family surprised me and came up to have birthday dinner with me (even though I got called into work that day!) We still made it work! They were so thoughtful to think of me and drive all the way up from Spanish Fork. I got some pretty cool birthday presents from everyone and bought a new winter coat from the birthday money I received! Thank you everyone!!!
I'm going to post some pictures from some of our experiences during these past couple months that we have been in Logan. We are liking Logan a lot and it is growing on us for sure. =) We love riding our new bikes around town and up in the canyons! Thank you to all who are still thinking about us! We are still thinking about you and miss you all tremendously! !!!!Happy Halloween!!!!! Love- The Shelley's
This picture of Kyle and I and the little burned boy is the picture we took when the little burned boy, named Marius, came to Logan to visit all of the people who helped raise money for him. I don't know if you remember but I helped do a fund raiser auction at the Primrose Retreat Spa in Spanish Fork to help raise money to help Marius, a little boy from Romania, come here to the U.S. to receive reconstructive surgery at Shriner's Hospital. It was such a cool moment to meet Marius for the first time and so neat to see that I helped him out a little. The next pictures are just of Kyle and I at the Isaac family 24th of July party and the Shelley Family cabin trip up in Sundance.

You just reminded me that we haven't carved pumpkins yet! I'm glad you live Logan because we are probably going up there in about a year and 1/2 and excited about it. You are such an optimistic person!
That is so neat you got to meet the little boy. Sounds like you find time to have fun even though you are busy. I love the pumpkins, you 2 are artists. It is so great that you ride bikes together and stay active. Good luck with the rest of the semester. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hi sweetie! I loved reading your new post. The picture of Marius brought tears to my eyes. He is a beautiful little spirit and it made me cry to see how much love you have for all of God's children. Thanks for being a good example to us all! Love you both.
What a fun pumpkin date. Yours is so Kaitlyn, I love it! I'm glad you were able to meet Marius in Utah. What a neat little boy and I'm sure he has had a special influence on your life. Love you!
