Just a quick post to show off the beautiful orchid that Kyle got me last week......
I LOVE taking care of it and have found out that it can last for years and years if you take good care of it and prune it and stuff! It also can grow more orchid plants out of it and more "spikes" that produce more flowers! I have been loving taking care of it. Already there are 2 little blooms just coming out and they open more and more everyday and it makes me so excited! Seeing it grow makes me happy. =) We can't have pets in our apartment, so I figured that a plant would be the next best thing to have responsibility for =).I remember when I was a little girl I would help my grandma plant flowers and I enjoyed it so much. As I've grown up, I have forgotten how much I love being outside with the flowers and worms =) I hope to have a big beautiful garden like my grandma someday =) But for now, this will do. =) Have a great day!!!

I also love house plants and gardens. I have had 2 bamboos and a shamrock growing in my home for the past 7 years! I think an orchid would look great in my bathroom. Please update on how it goes. I love having some green life indoors with me.
These are all such cute pictures you guys. Hope you guys are surviving the cold out there. I'll have to call and talk to you guys soon.
