Okay, so I just wanted to post a few pics , mostly of our Yellowstone trip we took last semester. Sorry, I'm still getting used to blogging so everything is from the end to the beginning of the trip.

These pictures are actually taken in Logan Canyon, we hiked it after we got back from Yellowstone and it was beautiful. Who knew something so beautiful is just right in our backyard.

The Wind Caves in Logan Canyon, supposedly formed by wind.
One of the last stops in our Yellowstone trip- the stinky but cool mudpots.

Some pretty mountains

The cowboy church

This is actually a picture of Bear Lake. Just look how blue it is! It is so beautiful!

A picture of a deer in Yellowstone we got really close to. It was so pretty.
Yellowstone falls- these are actual pictures I took with my little non-professional camera..it's not the photographer that is making the pictures so beautiful- trust me, I'm not very good, but this is how everything looked! I didn't change any color or edit anything (or add any rainbows)- I didn't do anything to the pictures, I don't know how to do that- everything you see on the pictures is everything we saw while we were there...only the pictures don't even do justice to how beautiful everything was in real life. It was unreal.

Yelowstone Falls again from another location

These pics are of Mammoth Hot Springs. If you've ever seen pictures of these when there is actually water in them they are beautiful. Now they are just white barren terraces. Someone told me that the reason why there is no water in them right now is because there is going to be a big eruption somewhere in Yellowstone. I guess the water drains before it happens. It's hard to believe that they looked like this before:
It was a little disappointing because that is what I was expecting it to look like there but it was still really cool.

Does anyone else think this natural coloring of the rock looks like a bear face?
More of Mammoth Springs bone dry

A cool buck we saw in Mammoth

Some waterfall somewhere in Yellowstone

Prettiest color of blue pond

This is the Grand Prismatic Geyser- it's so big that you can't even see how beautiful it is. You can only see the whole thing from an airplane.

Somewhere in Yellowstone

Mammoth Hot Springs...sorry,these pictures are way out of order.

This is the geyser you get to when you take that 1.8 miles or so hiking trail in the Yellowstone Park. The hike and the geyser are totally worth the time; this was our favorite geyser that we saw in the main park.

It was really cool and it erupts every 15 minutes or so. Way cool to see.

Somewhere else in the park

These clouds were amazing

The Tetons

Jackson Hole

Sorry...I just couldn't resist posting this.

Can you believe how beautiful this sunset is?! It was a campground in Lava Hot Springs that was pretty much just someone's backyard they turned into a campground. It was so pretty.

Ignore the porta-potties in this picture, I just wanted to show you a clear view of the landscape...wow!
So anywho, that is our trip in a backwards nutshell! Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!
