 Here is what you do:

Welcome to our Book Exchange!

Send one new book to the child listed as #1 below (any children's book will do). Then send 2 copies of this letter (one blank and one filled out) to six friends. Move my child’s name to the #1 spot and list your child’s name as #2 on the letter. This is not a chain letter this is only for fun and to get books for your children.

If you are unable to complete this in one week (give or take a few days) please notify me, as it is unfair to the children who have participated and are waiting for their books to arrive. I will then send out a new letter to someone else. A manila envelope will work well to mail the new book. You can save postage by requesting a book/media mail service at the post office- it’s cheaper. Don’t forget the gift receipt too, just in case a duplicate is received. Soon your child will receive 36 books in return. That’s right, you only have to send one book and receive 36 books in return! What a deal!

Be sure to include your child’s name and address. If you are expecting, list the child as “Baby ________”, with your expected due date. Seldom does anyone drop out because as a parent, you know that your children love to receive mail and books! You should receive your new books in about 2 weeks if you get your letters out right away.
