!!!Spring Break!!!

So I decided that it was finally time to catch up on my posts. It will have to do. This first post is about our fun Spring Break vacation that actually happened last month. =) The first day of our Spring Break we drove to Zions

National Park and rode our bikes around and stayed a night in the same place we stayed when we went on our honeymoon. I don't have a picture of that campground for some reason but it is really sandy and fun. =) We had really good meals that we prepared before we left on our trip that we could cook over the fire. We had tinfoil dinners, tacos and burritos, eggs and bacon, and stuff like that. It was really fun to be out in the woods and cook over a campfire. =) Here is a picture of us trying to kiss with our helmets on while in a bike ride in Zions:

While we were in Zions, Kyle spotted this huge bird sitting on a rock in the River. We had no idea that birds this big lived in Utah! But apparently they live all over the place. They are called Blue Cranes or something like that. It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but if you look close in between the trees on the rock, there it is:

On our second day, we went on a super fun and challenging bike ride on the Goosberry Mesa bike trail. Apparently it is really famous and people from all over the world come to Utah to ride it. It was so much fun and it was really hard, and most of all, it was so beautiful! It was out in the middle of nowhere though and had to drive a long ways to get to it. =) Here are some pictures of our fun bike riding adventures:

After we conquered Goosberry Mesa, we headed on to St. George to enjoy the sun. We stayed at a nice campground and I put up the tent all by myself!

Before it became dark Kyle and I hiked the red cliffs. It was very pretty. We had so much fun on ou
r vacation!

On our way home, sadly Kyle got a big boo boo while shutting the trunk of our car with our bikes hooked on it. They came crashing down and a part of the bike stabbed Kyle in the arm and he started bleeding really bad. Kyle was smart enough to pack a first aid kit before we left and I bandaged him up without having to go to the hospital. It has healed very well.

It was so nice to take a break from school and spend a lot of time together, Kyle is such a fun husband and is such a good bike rider! I could barely keep up! Hopefully we can take another trip to Goosberry sometime again this year, we had a blast!
