Spring Semester? and Aggie Basketball!

Does this look like Spring to you?

I don't think so! It's FREEZING here! As you can see- it's so cold that the trees are frosted- and they stay that way ALL day long!

It's beautiful but definitely not "Spring"- as Utah State calls the name of this semester we are in right now.

Yup! Another semester is here- one down, 6 more to go! It would be a lot less but just a couple days ago I decided to do a composite major of Special Education with Elementary Education as well so that put 3 more semesters on my schedule. Needless to say, it will be a while before I graduate but I think it will be worth it in the long run and I think it will be nice to be able to switch back and forth between elementary ed. and special ed.

Along with the new semester comes a new year of Aggie basketball! The best games of the year! Kyle, Jake, and I were able to go to the first basketball game of the semester last week.

It was on the first day of school and it is SO much fun to have Jake down with us to spend time with and go to the basketball games with. We are so glad to have Jake in our Logan life!

During the halftime of the basketball game, my dance company and I performed a Michael Jackson tribute dance. The crowd loved it and it was so much fun! this is a funny picture of me because Kyle took it from really far away and I had no idea he was taking it. Our new camera mom and dad gave us for Christmas (thanks mom and dad!) was able to zoom from the bottom of the stadium clear to the top. We love our new camera!
You can watch a video of our performance by going to You Tube and by copying and pasting this in the You Tube search bar: "USU companies: Full Circle and Vilociti: Michael Jackson dance!"

Hopefully it works for you. I am the girl that leaps over the girl on the floor towards the first of the dance. Hopefully you can see me =)

This is our school's funny dude who is always at all the games doing something crazy. He always sits on the front row to try and distract the other team when they are shooting free throws, it works pretty good and he not only is able to distract the other team but is able to distract the whole stadium. Kind of creepy but funny at the same time. We played Hawaii this game, so that is why he is dressed like this =)

This was my favorite part of the game- when I got to meet and take a picture with the dancing ice cream cone. I watched him walk around and around up at the top of the stadium where all the concessions were when I was watching the game. All I could see was this top half of an ice cream bobbing up and down because he was covered by a wall and when there was an occassional break in the wall I could see his whole body and it just made me happy to see the bobbing/dancing ice cream cone.

Go Aggies!
